Step by Step Process:
STEP 1

Call the TSU Foundation General Office at (615) 963-5481 and request a copy of the Tennessee State University Scholarship Agreement Application Form OR the form(s) may be picked at the TSU Foundation Office located at Goodwill Manor on the TSU campus.

STEP 2

The chapter, individual or organization must establish a criterion (ex. city, state, grade point average, major/minor, college or school, affinity group(s), high school(s), local and national program affiliation (i.e. Upward Bound, INROADS, ProjectGrad, etc.) or industry and/or individual qualifier (first-generation, underrepresented, and underserved populations, etc.).

STEP 3

After the above requirements have been completed (form(s) & criteria), these materials must be brought in person or via mail, in the form of CASH, CHECK, or MONEY ORDER to the TSU Foundation. DO NOT MAIL CASH!

STEP 4

The TSU Foundation will process the application and deposit the funds into the newly established account.

STEP 5

The chapter, individual or organization will be mailed an approved copy of the agreement form along with a confirmation receipt of the deposited funds to the donor(s).

STEP 6

The chapter, individual or organization will be mailed an approved copy of the agreement form along with a confirmation receipt of the deposited funds to the donor(s).

Once the account is activated. Anyone may generously contribute to fulfilling its commitment to providing top quality affordable education to our students.

The chapter, individual or organization should review WAYS TO GIVE with all stakeholders involved.

How Are Students Informed?

How Are Students Informed?

Chapters with foundation based scholarships may request a list of students in their area from the Office of Admissions and Recruitment

Chapters may send scholarship announcements

Chapters may also choose to host informational sessions for students in their chapter region, area and/or community.

How to Apply

HOW TO APPLY

Students who wish to apply for a TSU Foundation Scholarship must complete the online application on the TSU Foundation AcademicWorks Scholarship portal during the designated application period.

Students should also complete the TSUNAA MSR Scholarship Notification Form as well.

TSUNAA Midsouth Region Scholarship

The TSUNAA Midsouth Region Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student (junior or senior) with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 cumulative average. The students must have a permanent resident in the geographic city area of a Midsouth Region Chapter. There must be a financial need and the recipient cannot receive a refund from this scholarship.
