Welcome, East Tennessee Alumni,

 

Membership in the East Tennessee local alumni chapter is open to all TSU alumni and supporters living in the East Tennessee counties of Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier, Sullivan and Washington including the remainder of the Upper East Tennessee area. 

 

Regular Active Membership (3-N-1 Program)

National dues: ($30 annually)

Local dues: ($10 annually) 

TSU Foundation contribution: ($10 annually) 

Total dues: ($50 annually)

 

Any person who holds a degree granted by Tennessee State University or a member in good standing that attended Tennessee State University for at least one semester or quarter term.

-  Regular Dues $50 ($30 national dues, $10 local dues, $10 donation to the TSU Foundation)

Associate Membership

National dues: ($30 annually)

Local dues: ($10 annually) 

TSU Foundation contribution: ($10 annually) 

Total dues: ($50 annually)

Any person who manifests a genuine interest in the promotion of the East Tennessee Chapter is eligible for Associate Membership in the chapter. Associate membership carries with it all the rights of deliberation and committee assignments, but no right to hold office.

Complimentary Membership

National dues: ($0 once)

Local dues: ($0 once)

 

Free to Recent Graduates for 1-Year This membership is granted to all graduating undergraduates and graduate students for one year following their graduation if they do not hold membership in our local alumni chapter or any other TSU Alumni chapter. This membership holds no voting rights on any business matters conducted by the chapter or during the election of officers. A person holding this membership status cannot run for or hold an elected office in the chapter during this period. Only one Complementary Membership will be awarded per person.

 

 

Life Membership

Dues within the National Alumni Association, are also available to Tennessee State University alumni, for $750.00. Also, there is a $25 annual dues for national membership or a $50 fee for both local and national dues.

-  National Life Dues $770 ($750 one time national payment, $10 local dues; $10 donation to the TSU Foundation)
 

 

Millennium Membership

Dues: ($300)***
A 10-Year membership is payable in one lump sum or w/in a 12-month period.

** Will receive the Millennium Lapel Pin upon final payment!!
Note: The above fees do not include local or regional dues if you plan to be affiliated with a local chapter.

-  Millennium Life Dues $320 ($300 national dues good for ten years; $10 local dues; $10 donation to the TSU Foundation)
 

Honorary Membership

Any notable member of the Greater Knoxville/East Tennessee community who has made a significant contribution to Tennessee State University and who manifests a genuine interest in the promotion of the program of this Chapter is eligible for consideration. Upon a favorable two-thirds vote by the membership of the East Tennessee Chapter at a regular meeting, membership to this person can be extended followed by the person’s acceptance. Honorary membership which carries with it all the rights of deliberation and committee assignments, but no right to vote or hold office.
