Amount: If awarded the scholarship, the scholarship covers Tuition, Fees, Room and Board for up to eight semesters.

Criteria: The Tennessee State University Academic Higher Achiever Scholarship is awarded to recognize the academic achievements of incoming freshman residing in the State of Tennessee. To be considered for this scholarship a student must be a State of Tennessee high school graduate with a minimum 3.0 unweighted High School GPA and a 21 ACT or 980 SAT (Verbal and Math) test score; and no prior college attendance.
