Destination TSU begins at Orientation
Destination TSU is the new student orientation for first-time, freshmen entering the university. It is a one-day session on campus, beginning with check – in at 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 4:30 p.m.
Freshmen and their families are given an opportunity to learn about academic and student life; tour the beautiful TSU campus; meet with university faculty, staff, and students; and receive information about housing, financial aid, and other campus services.
All first-time, freshmen who are admitted to the university are required to attend Destination TSU.
Freshmen will:
Meet with academic advisors to understand academic expectations and to develop a course schedule
Learn about support services and technology resources
Become familiar with the campus environment
Learn and complete financial aid and fee payment processes
Create relationships with faculty, staff, and students
Learn about student life, leadership and involvement opportunities, and campus traditions
